No, a check stands on its own: a person or a company, with nothing to sign. It also attaches as a step on a document you are sending, and the result lands on the certificate page.

No. The check runs through a link, in the browser on the phone they already have.

The result is recorded as it came back, and you decide whether to ask them to try again or stop there. If the check was a step on a document, the document stops where it is and nothing is signed.
